ujust install-sunshine seems to fail

A huge thank you for the update today, wanted to report a potential issue with the just configs however. Tried the above command twice followed by a reboot each time. The second attempt I saw it ran the two repo commands, then it searched available repos (which it said were cached), said package not found and then printed that sunshine is already installed. There is no shortcut in the application launcher and i can't find it in /usr/bin ```deck@steamdeck:/var/home/deck$ systemctl status --user sunshine.service...

How to disable the mouse cursor when using dualsense touchpad?

Some playstation games i'm playing require using the touchpad to interact with parts of the game and i'm unable to do so currently as the touchpad is treated as mouse input. there is documentation for this on the arch wiki but i'm unsure how to apply it. https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Gamepad#Disable_touchpad_acting_as_mouse...

nevermind, you can just disable the touchpad in kde plasma system settings

nested desktop wrong orientation

Trying to use nested desktop on a Lenovo legion go using the steamdeck testing build. Is there a way to fix the orientation?

HDR options disappeared after update on Steam Deck LCD on bazzite-deck:stable

I updated my Steam Deck yesterday after not using it for a while and all of a sudden the HDR option disappeared. Adjusting the colors on the Steam Deck doesn't work anymore either.

Solution:

might be a valve change due to lack of kernel patches, testing will be landing on stable this friday

Fan controller options

Hello! I installed Bazzite on my GPD winmax 2 (6800u version) and i need some sort of fan control. jupiter-fan-control is crashing so i was looking at using one of the available github projects for linux fan control on the winmax2, but both rely on dependencies that are not available with any of the package managers so i'm not able to use them. Would really appricate some guidance on what my options are....

BUG: The bazzite-nvidia image has 4gb of zram swap space assigned by default

This is mentioned as a feature in the SteamDeck image in the readme but is not noted in the desktop bazzite features. (It is important and relevent for the SteamDeck, but not for every desktop) I assume this is an unintentional bug in this image, as setting an arbitrary swap space size of 4gb could cause performance issues on desktops with slower HDDs and lots of fast RAM....

steam does not remember password; game mode blank screen

Hi folks, I'm just trying out Bazzite for the first time. Install went fine however I have two problems which I thought might be related: 1) Steam will not remember my credentials. Every time I open steam, it asks for login like it's the first time, despite populating my username in registry.vdf under AutoLoginUser 2) Game mode does not work, I just get a blank screen. I thought maybe this was because it could not log into steam in order to open Big Picture mode etc ...

Not receiving video signal

Shortly after booting up and logging into my PC it sends me back to the log in screen but every time that I want to log in again it stops sending a video signal to my screen. I don't really have any experience with Linux so I also don't have an idea what might cause this issue. It's super frustrating because it makes my PC unstable most of the time. RPM file install

Hi. Hope you can help. I'm looking to install a displaylink-rpm that is no github for making displaylink adaptors work with Linux. This has not been an issue with installing this on my laptop with nobara on. As this is also based on fedora I assumed this would work the same. But once I have downloaded the RPM file I am unable to install it with discovery. Could you please advise how I can go about installing this? Thanks...

Keyboard not working during enrollment of secure boot key

After using the ujust command and rebooting, the MOK management screen is completely frozen and no input from keyboard works.

Solution:

Hmmm no. That's different. Try turning off any fastboot stuff so all hardware is initialized.
