What other hats look good with clothes other than baseball hats and beanies?
I am looking for cool hats that don’t look lame like a Yohji fedora to wear with my black clothes.
Help me understand proportions
I’m here from Reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/malefashionadvice/s/N0MjcQDBgI). Based on responses I need to look into cropped/short cut shirts, but I also may not have as much of a problem as I thought?
I’ve always been afraid to tuck in my shirts because of my long legs and short torso. I understand this is a good thing and many people have the opposite problem, but I never really felt comfortable with the tuck because I thought it actually made my legs too long and threw me off balance. The commenter that referred me here actually said I could go high waisted and look ok, which has never crosses my mind.
I think I am my own worst critic and misunderstand my proportions. Where should I be aiming to have my waistline with a tuck? Where do I want a shirt to hit untucked? How can I actually dress for my build?...

Dying a wool/nylon blend jacket
Hey guys, I have an EG cruiser parka in a 80% wool 20% nylon blend. It’s an amazing jacket and I want to keep it but unfortunately I just hate navy and cannot wear it with most of my favorite clothes. How feasible would it be to over dye it black? Is there a place I can call that would do something like this?
Looking for fashion advice
I’ve never been much of a fashion guy. I work in IT so people are really casual about whatever we want to wear. There’s this desire for me to be more fashion forwards.
My current wardrobe consists of Uniqlo oversized tshirts, a couple Hawaiian shirts, a few polos, 3 pairs of jeans, couple chinos and joggers.
I also have a couple sweatshirts, hoodies and long sleeved Henleys I reserve for winters
I am in SoCal and the weather allows me to wear less layers.
Any advice on how to dress. Everyday seems like I’m wearing the same thing and when I am going out on the weekend or seeing some people it feels like I am wearing work clothes. ...

Help me figure out semi-casual?
For cocktail hours and wedding parties. I'd love to hear what changes or new pieces you think these fits need to come together.
IMO higher quality and more hemmed charcoal wool pants would help everything. And maybe some kind of updated blazer....

Where to cuff these pants?
which length works best here (if any)?
the pants are more of a faded black/dark gray that doesn't blend in with the shirt nearly as much as these would indicate, but the iOS camera app crushes shadows...

Business casual coats/jackets?
I was wondering what to wear to the office once it starts getting colder. I'm not talking about a fall jacket but a winter coat to wear when it's ~0 degrees Celsius (~32 F if not mistaken). Not looking for particular brands (although feel free to share), more like "types" of coats and jackets. My only 2 dealbreakers are:
- i want something that doesn't have a hood
- i don't want an overcoat (i'm rather short so they are difficult to pull off)...
What can i improve
Something about my outfits feels off and i don’t know what it is, im pretty new to fashion so I can’t tell

Cropped/No-Break Wool Trousers?
Hey everyone, curious what the current view is on cropped wool trousers - or ones with no break? I just don't love the current super-baggy style in fashion right now, but happy with a little looser fit. Pics attached for the general idea.
Any recommendations in the $100-$200 USD range would be great. I haven't found a good tailor either so I'm nervous about buying something expensive that would need shortening on the inseam.
Thanks!...

Fit check - comment below
Hello, I ordered some linen shirts, trousers and a pair of suade loafers for a holiday next week in corfu. Shirts took a while to arrive and feel a bit baggier than I am used to. I’m 6ft and a bit. 183 lbs. I tend to be an awkward in between size with a lot of brands as L is often too roomy in the midriff, but M and my sleeves length stops short halfway up the arms.
How do we think the fit of this stuff is? I was in two minds about returning it but I’ve kind of run out of time to replace now
Can I get away with this being baggy? Use will be at restaurants in the evening for dinner. The resort requires men to wear shirts and cover up arms and legs in the evening ...
Boot dupe hunt
These sold, no brand unforch, having a hard time finding a dupe. Anyone have some direction for me?

is gap tts or vanity?
I’ve been eyeing their 90s loose fit chinos but I don’t know if they’re tts or vanity sizing but my guess is they’re vanity but before getting them I just wanted to see if anyone else had experience ordering off gap and what the sizing is like, I’m normally a 32-33 waist
Thank you!...

How would you style denim boots?
So I really like these boots but how would you style them I think fatigues would go well but what other pants and out layer would work?

Oversized sweater styling
So I potentially made a mistake. I bought the following sweater, which was advertised as a Vintage Large. It's 30" pit to pit, way up from the usual 23-24" I wear. The sleeves are just right at 23" however l, which has me thinking:
Is this salvageable if I style it intentionally? Or did I completely screw the pooch?
Make is LL Bean, looks to be a well taken care of 80% wool 20% rayon piece...

Polyethylene in clothing
My viscose pants I bought are 20% polyethylene- so like, PE, the basic plastic from water bottles etc
I’ve never seen it in clothes I think? I was wondering why it’s not more common, knowing it’s the most produced type of plastics!
Have you seen instances of PE on material composition tags?
Just curious, thanks!...
