Z-offset not saving

When I try to save my z-offset both during printing and not it does not save. I've recalibrated my beacon but the z-offset is still way to high. Any help is greatly appreciated

Solution:

Deleting the mesh profiles worked the z-offset is saving now thanks for the help

Change URL on RatOS 2.0 after install?

I have my VC3 running on RatOS 2.0. I would like to change the URL from ratos.local to vc3.local. Is this possible without installing fresh?

Im trying to figure out how to use an unsupported Fly-SHT-36 Pro Toolboard. I selected the Fly-SHT36 during configuration, and have successfully overridden everything except for one problem.

Setting up Schedueled Maintenance Notifications

I'm running a 3D printing company (PSL3D.fr), and I'm working on making my printers even more reliable in the long run. I'd like to manually set up maintenance reminders or protocols (e.g., apply PTFE oil to linear rails every 100 hours), and then copy/paste the same setup across all my machines. At the moment, I’ve got 4 RatRigs and 8 Prusa MK3S. I noticed that Ratrig OS is creating some kind of file in the History section, but I’m really not great with code... If anyone could give me a hand with this, I’d be more than happy to share our full maintenance routine—based on real-world experience in a production environment!...

mcu 'mcu': Unable to connect

I purchased a back-up board as a safeguard. I had to manually install the firmware on my back-up board because it wasn't being detected during the configuration process. I would like to know why one board would be detected and not another? I would gladly pay RatRig to test these boards before sending them out. gcode command PROBE already registered

Installed firmware for first time and received the following error message: gcode command PROBE already registered

Solution:

I resolved the issue by reinstalling the firmware and instead of selecting 'None' for X axis accelerometer and Y axis accelerometer, I selected 'Integrated on Toolboard'.

IDEX after reload Filament and resuming Print Offset in X Axis

Hi the Print was pausing after Filament runout. I liaded a new spool to t0 and then IT was resuming with an x-offset about 50mm to the right. I am using all the Standard settings from the commisioning Guide. Also the Standard settings for Orbiter 2 smart Sensor....

Getting a "bed_mesh" Klipper Error while very first Installation of my new VCore 4 IDEX.

I just flashed my SD Card and installed RatOS on the Raspberry. I could now continue with the configuration as mentioned in the manual, but I am getting this error (see image). Did I do something wrong? I flashed the 2.1 RC2....

Help with RatOS for Pellet Extruder.

hi. i am building a pellet extruder with 3 heaters and 3 k type thermistor(using max6675) connected to octopus board using ratos. Since the thermal mass of the extruder is too much, it takes some time to heatup. But as soon as i heatup within a few seconds ratos stops with this error "Heater extruder not heating at expected rate". How can i go around this?

brand new install, tons of invalid packages

Trying to resolve an issue I am having I grabbed a fresh sdcard and did a completely new install from scratch. Upon initial start it seems like there is some seriously wrong. Almost every installed package reports as "invalid". Any ideas? As well if I restart the system I'll get klipper errors:

Solution:

ahh, I guess that was it. everything is incrediblyt slow and it's just taking forever I guess. seems kind of strange but maybe bad / slow internet connection All fixed, just really slow intertnet conection 🙂...

Printer is loosing connection to network

Dear all, i do have a little issue with my printer. Somehow it is loosing the connection to the network. I am using a Klipperscreen and everything looks normal. I just realise it if I would like to controll the printer over the webinterface. It seems like that moonraker is crashing or so. My router tells me that the printer is connected, but using the IP adress gives me a connection timeout. Does anyone has an idea why the network service of the printer is crashing? after switching the printer off and on again, its working as it should. the only thing i noticed is that by trying to restart the printer over the klipper screen, a job is running so the printer refuses to reboot....

Can't connect with ethernet cable

I have a Raspberry Pi 4 that I am loading RatOS 2.1 for a new build. I can connect to the Pi using Wifi but I am unable to connect using ethernet. The router sees it and has given it a static ip but I can't connect to it either through the browser or SSH. If I install Raspberry Pi OS lite I have no issues connecting to the Pi with ethernet. Is RatOS blocking my ethernet communication? I have used Etcher, Rufus, and Pi imager and get the same results with all of them....

When to use the RatOS ConfigurationWizard/ConfigurationMotionWizard

I first used the ConfigurationWizard 6 months ago after rebuilding part of my RatRig VCore3-400 and moving to RatOS V2. It worked fine and set everything up and has not had any issue. My Bondtech LGX (no pro) broke so I replaced it with the LGX PRO which has a bigger stepper motor, metal gears and a bigger all metal Large Gear. Q1. Should I have used the 'Configurator/SetupWizard' again? ...
