aspect ratio on some games using heroic on steam deck
I apologize if this is asked a lot, but I’m fairly new to pc gaming and the steam deck in general. But I’ve been messing around on the launcher and started Dishonored from the epic games store and noticed it’s only 16:9. I know it’s 16:10 from the steam store, just wondering if there’s a way to change games in the launcher to 16:10 at all, checked in the games settings and the resolution changes don’t do anything

thats on the game.. not all games support resolutions on the steam deck well

I figured that, but dishonored on steam runs in full 16:10. I just thought I could have the same using the launcher

like i said its on the game afaik.. heroic just launches the thing, after that its up to the game to do the right thing

Weirdly enough, I just tried tinkering with all the resolutions ingames (1280x800, 1280x720,etc.) and every single resolution changes nothing. Even the smallest resolution when applied still looks like it’s running at 1280x720. The aspect ratio remains 16:9 and pixel count/quality doesn’t change at all between any resolution change
