Is there a way in JS to avoid getting snapped by snap-stop always

What do you mean?

basically I'm trying to programmatically scroll through an overflow list but i've set it up such that a user needs to swipe past each one at a time using snap stop always and snap mandatory so when the JS tries to scroll (at least for smooth scrolling, the only one i tried) it also gets stopped I found a workaround

You could temporary programmatically disable scroll snap by setting it to "normal" with inline style, then do the scroll and then revert it back to original state
