Heater not heating as expected
Hi all, I'm having an issue where the thermistor of T0 is giving me spiky values causing a system shutdown while printing (see purple line in picture). I've now replaced the Rapido with a completely new one, but the issue continuous to happen with this one, making me wonder if it is the thermistor that is the cause of this. There are no weird kinks or anything in the cable, and the cables are properly secured. T1 is showing no issues whatsoever.
Anybody have a clue? Maybe something on the EBB42 board?

its something with wiring, whether internal to the thermistor, or along it back to the toolboard :/
Any idea which one it could be? USB maybe, since that's the one sending data?
I think the PT1000 jumper might be the culprit, it felt very loose. Summer temperatures are quite insane here at the moment, so my chamber temp is also 10c higher than what I am normally running with. Maybe the plastic of the jumper got a bit soft? Dunno, but I've tried to squeeze it a bit and am now seeing stable temps for quite a while now.
Will mark this post as solved once I have a few successful prints without spikes again.
*temp spikes
it can't be the USB. The USB is sending data, not collecting it.
a loose jumper could certainly be it. There have been a couple reports in here of actually broken jumpers. So it looks like it is there, but electrically it isn't. If you have a replacement could also give that a try. Good luck with your squeezed jumper!
OK, it did seem to be the jumper that was causing the issue. At least I got a spare hotend out of it 😅 !
