Can only blur once per frame
Game crashes whenever I load any shader pack, so I'm pretty sure it is an iris error.

I know some shaders don’t work on MacOS, but this is a weird bug
Does it happen with just iris and sodium?
havent tried any other shader loaders, dont want to mess around with optifine
im not even getting to the "this shader doesnt work on mac" error, and even shaders that ive used previously dont work anymore.
I would try with just iris and sodium, but I feel like immersive ui is causing issues
oh right thats what you meant
yeah i tried it with just iris and sodium and no other mods or resource packs and still got the same error
:thnk:
heres the latest.log and crash log for just iris and sodium
thinking of trying it with the normal minecraft launcher in case its prism launcher causing it for some reason? maybe??
I use prism launcher on the daily
So
However it wouldn’t hurt
whats your setup? im on an M2 macbook pro.
nope normal minecraft launcher crashes too
M1 MacBook Pro
trying a fresh file on prism launcher now
nope even a fresh one died instantly
Hmm @IMS do you have any idea?
someone else in the shader labs discord is having the same issue as me. they havent fixed it but they did notice this in the crash log
so its possibly something with the screen size (and possibly being on a retina display?)
pretty sure I know why this happens
This is happening when you turn on a feature of a pack that is specifically marked as macOS incompatible
It’s supposed to be popping up a “missing feature” screen, but that screen is… broken
because I never tested it in a long time
Features that I know cause this:
- Shrimple/Rethinking Voxels (like, at all)
- BSL/Complementary colored lighting
Ah
I'm sure I've used BSL in the past, I can't even load it in the first place
