So I am planning to buy some clothes and shoes for fall/winter and I need help deciding 🙏 🙏 🙏
first of all im planning to build up my wardrobe a little bit more mature and better looking than i have it now
I have a lot of pants (unfortunately most of them are slim) - like checked pants in navy blue, grey, chino pants in grey, navy, (my most favorite) straight black pants
blue jeans, wide grey cargos and slim brown cargos
Then some sweaters - light blue, olive green, I have navy blue zip sweater with collar, black turtle necks, I have some hoodies (dark grey, light blue, sand)
Shirts in all colors and different patterns (floral, dots, symbols... but all decent)
Light grey wool checked coat with blue lines
Black jacket, dark brown leather jacket, winter leather jacket with shealrling collar

This is most of my wardrobe now, its not all pieces, but you'll get the picture,
Rn I want to buy longer navy / dark grey coat, preferably with belt, some dark grey wider pants
and some shoes but cant decide what ot choose
i was thinking some like these, maybe in black to match it with more outfits

It would help a lot to have a budget as well just so I can know what I can recommend you.
I think you already have a lot in your wardrobe of that you can work with. It’s just about integrating some other pieces
also we need to know what you like
wearing clothes is boring if you just buy what others tell you to, but if you send pics of outfits you like we can probably help you ID gaps in your wardrobe
i think this defines how i usually dress (unfortunately my coat is shorter xD)
i wanna dress more (they called it old money in last few years, but for me just more mature and chic)
i need to get some long coat so i can start making outfits around it
if u already own everything in the above pictures, my first rec is to trash the dress sneakers and h&m shoes and replace them with (based on your inspo) black loafers, black boots, and more sporty sneakers.

shoe wise youll probably want to look at some lug soled black derbies, something chunky
gonna need some wide fitting pants too, levis 578s might be a good start
i started working in one company not long ago and i have a lot of business meetings as well, so i need to choose smth that i can match with more formal outfits and also free time/university outfits
odds are lug sole derbies will be fine
I have budget for both sneakers and ,,formal'' shoes
derbs, loafers, and sneakers will all work for sure
i have the black pants which are wide and want to buy some dark grey ones too or brown

just keep em wide if you’re looking to get closer to your inspo
unless your budget is tall, thrift/second hand is probably a good call
im going to imagine you’ll end up in a uniqlo soon given what you’re after for pants and other things so you could try there
but id rather spend $100 on a thrifted longcoat than a new uniqlo one

i had basic white airforce nikes but idk if i should get them again or choose different
id suggest asics or new balance for sneakers, just based on your inspo
i dont like those

the profile on those sneakers probably aren’t ideal for what you’re going for
i like 2 and 4 from this bunch. 1 is ok but chunkier would probably work better for your goals. 3 are plain bad
2 and 4 are zara xd
and i found good coat there too
in brown or black
thats up to you
not that much expensive and i can look for some vintage one around thrift stores

i wear the same sneakers year round
given what you've posted adidas bw gats, gazelles, maybe new balance 1906s
merrell moabs, newbalance, ascics, keen jaspers, nike acg izy, these are all some sneakers that
a) i personally like
b) could slot in to what you’re going for
whatever you pick you probably want something chunky and monochrome based on your inspo
