Recovering slim jeans boy here: are these pants too wide?
Attempting to kill the 2010 r/malefashionadvice poster within, and branch out to wider pants. Got these from Imperfects. The waist is comfortable but curious how they look in the leg? Any other advise you have is also welcome / appreciated

I have one pair that has proven too wide for me so far, and I'ma take that as a challenge for tomorrow's fit!

I'm low-key obsessed with Japanese workwear. I actually wore a lot back when I was in college, around 99, and I was doing a summer language program. I went to workwear shops and did the chain plus knickerbocker look (real big!), and only recently scored ONE pair when I went to Tokyo (but they had only one pair my size - SO MANY GOOD PANTS I couldn't buy! 😭 ).
