I don't get the media deletion message on my device after deleting in Immich.
This feature worked a few times, but now I can no longer delete media in the app and automatically delete it in the device's native gallery.

In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:
- Your docker-compose.yml and .env files.
- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).
- All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
- Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.

- The version of the Immich server, mobile app, and other relevant pieces.

I use the circled button that used to work for me to delete from both places. But not even the “delete from device” button is working now. I tap delete and nothing happens. Before, the iOS confirmation box would pop up asking if I wanted to delete the media from the device, and I would confirm and everything would be deleted.

are you viewing this photo from the main timeline, what is the status of the backup icon, is it cloud only or cloud with a check mark?
In this video, I tap “delete from device” several times and nothing happens. When I tap the trash icon, it only deletes from the cloud and not from my device as well.

Ah this issue should be fixed in the latest patch 2.2.1, the app is being reviewed at the moment
I’m on version 2.2.1, and it’s only on iOS that I haven’t received the app update yet. I have an Android device where the delete function works normally for both cloud and local deletion.

I rolled my server back to version 2.2.0, but I still don’t get the option to delete from the device 😔.
I meant it should be fixed in the version 2.2.1 of the mobile app

My iOS app is on version 2.2.0, and the server is on 2.2.1. I hope this bug gets fixed in the iOS app version 2.2.1 🤩.
