Uses too much GPU (~60-70%), barely any CPU
The game uses too much GPU imo (running a laptop 4050 and intel core ultra 9)
Running a couple mods like Calamity, Ragnorok, Thorium, Infernum ( I play in my friends server)

Game runs at like 55ish fps in game
Nothing you can do about that, Terraria is single threaded and uses only 1 cpu core
The problem is the GPU, it uses too much and gets hot
I have a friend playing on the same world same mods with worse GPU, and his GPU is only at like 20-30%
What GPU do you have?
RTX 4050 6gb
yeah that shouldn't be the case
theres literally no reason for it to be running at 70%
Probably it's some poorly coded mod doing it
Start disabling things one by one
