"Application tried to create a window, but no driver could be loaded." - Linux, Nvidia

Hi. For a couple of days now, Heroic has failed to launch any game, with the same error every time, relative to drivers. Heroic does not crash. On game launch, the game goes through "Launching" and "Playing", but no window is created. Then it goes back to neutral. I have not noticed any issue or error with my Nvidia drivers, everything is up to date, steam games work properly. I have reinstalled Heroic without success. PC running on Zorin OS AKA Ubuntu. This is the interesting part of the log AFAIK. 00d8:err:winediag:nodrv_CreateWindow Application tried to create a window, but no driver could be loaded. 00d8:err:winediag:nodrv_CreateWindow L"The explorer process failed to start." Thanks in advance.
Solution:
Well, the solution to that is "Don't use Wine-GE"

Welp, switching from WINE-GE to GE-PROTON did the trick. But the issue's still present with WINE-GE, in case you guys manage this.

Wine-GE is rather old now (last release is almost a year ago) and thus might not work correctly. Please follow these instructions on using GE-Proton: 1. Head to the Wine Manager in Heroic, click the "Proton-GE" tab, and install "Proton-GE-Latest" 2. Head to the settings for your game(s) (icon on game card in library). In the "Wine Version" dropdown, select "Proton - Proton-GE-latest" 3. Rename your Wineprefix (path is shown in game settings), e.g. from current-name to current-name_bak. To clarify: Rename the actual folder on your hard drive, do not change the option in the game settings. Note: This will make game-specific configuration data (e.g. in-game settings or save files) unavailable. If this is an issue, let us know & we'll help you restore them.
