`Server is not reachable` error on Immich iOS app when using custom domain, but works using local IP

On my brother's iOS app, if he uses the local IP address in the iOS app (http:192.168.1.101:2283), then he gets the prompt to enter his username and password but if he uses my custom domain with the subdomain (https://abc.xyz.com) which my AdGuard Home is using DNS rewrites to redirect the traffic back to my home server's local IP address's reverse proxy (Caddy) to the Immich, then it is giving the Server is not reachable error. This is also weird because every other iOS and Android device in my home is able to connect using the custom domain name to the server both in our local network and remotely too. What's going on specifically with my brother's Immich app?...

Is there a way to upload pictures files to an album through a file selector in the Android app?

The title kind of says it all. The web interface lets us upload pictures directly from our drive to an album. Is there a way to achieve the same through the Android app? Adding the folder in which the pictures are located to the synced folder list is not an acceptable solution as there are in this folder pictures I don't want to upload to my Immich instance. Immich 2.0.0 on Iphone 6s version 15.8.4 getting stuck

I have the server at: 2.0.1 I can get my account to work on an android, ipad, and my computer via the web. Can't start Docker when external library isn't connected

Hi everyone, I have some pictures on my laptop, which will eventually form my library, and a lot of old pictures on an external hard-drive, which I imported as an external library. However, I note that, when the external hard-drive is not connected, I cannot start Immich via Docker. I was kind of hoping that I would still be able to browse my pictures even when the external hard-drive is not connected. Am I doing this wrong?...

I made a mistake of upgrading directly to v2.0 from v.1.131.3

I was using immich version 1.131.3 and directly upgrade to v2.0 and when i ran the docker compose up, ran into problem, immich-server microservices exited with code 1, and saw an error message Invalid upgrade path. when cchecking the typeORM error it said that i should ugraded to version 1.132.3 and the consequently can upgrade to version 1.37 and above. What should i do? can i downgrade back to version 1.132.3?

Removing Photos Imported with Immich-Go Only

I brought this up a few weeks ago and never really got any resolution. Slow syncing on iOS

Hey there, I have been trying to sync my iCloud library to immich. I selected every important album in the app to sync every photo. I came to a total of 24k photos to upload. For some reason though, the images are not uploading. It seems to be very slow and it makes tiny to zero progress. Change User ID after reinstall of immich on truenas

Hi@all, after (successfully?) change to the new Data folder structure immich wouldn't start up again. then i decided to delete and reinstall immich. now it started but it was not finding my photos and videos. i found out, that the User ID has changed although i used the exact same email username and password this time. how to change the user id after reinstall of immich to the old in hope it will find my photos and videos again?
