❔ How to add user authentication to a web APIentity framework project
Hello everyone.
I'm a developer student and I have to create a wine management project using C#/.net.
With the help of our teacher, I managed to create entities and setup a migration (I still don't really get what it means) and use Dbcontext to expose data through web API.
Now I'd like to allow access to my application only to registered users.
I heard about Identity but my searches online haven't been successful and I haven't found any tutorials that explain the basics and what are the options to that problem.
Do you know any easy to understand resource or offer me a roadmap of things to look at to better grasp all of this?
Please be aware that I'm still a beginner with C#/.net and I'm not very comfortable with web APIs yet.
I do understand the concept of request/ response, http methods and getting a token to use in followup requests but how do I use that in C#?
