iOS foreground upload crashes app continuously
I setup immich server, redis, and postgresql on my Unraid server. While trying to upload my 44k images the app continuously crashes.
As far as I can tell it's kind of random - I've gotten through approximately 2500 images/videos successfully.
iOS app and server are both up to date, phone is iPhone 14 pro.
Is there any way I can provide better guidance to help fix this bug ? I suspect it's happening in background more as well but my phone got ... very hot so I disabled it .

I am putting more logs into the app as well as a better way to share the log information in the next release I am hoping to have more insight into this
at the meantime, can you trigger the foreground backup and let me know if it works as expect?
Foreground backup is what is crashing 😦 it's intermittent unless the upload order is randomized

Sure thing. Let me know if you have a test flight for any intermediate updates - idk how App Store updates go but I can assist in testing as I can reliably reproduce it

Can you help me confirm that the time of the crash is the time of the error log? I just want to make sure I am chasing the correct bug
So I did it twice clearing logs. Interesting thing is the null isn't crashing it but I'm not 100% sure it's this either
Going to try one more. It ran for approx 3 mins before crashing
Can you help export the log? the export function should be fixed

You export the file and just upload the file here or using the share symbol in the native dialog pop up to Discord

@Alex have a fun update for you. I updated the app and server component and it was still crashing - went to enable logging and it crashed still - but I didn't see any good errors other than out of memory . I updated to the most detailed level of logging and it stopped crashing.. ran over 1k uploads. I have to charge and let the phone cool down but will try later again
Can you click on one of the out of memory error and copy the stack trace?
Sorry I had cleared it as I was testing several things. I'm running into a lot of weirdness when I enable logging and have various states set. Some cause the to hang - the app becomes unresponsive (when at uploads can't hit the < to go back, BUT sliding left does take back to the images but they never load.
What I can reproduce right now appears to be an issue that crashes my version
