Install on partition

How do I install blend OS on a partition? I don't really understand the manual partitioning process in the installer. What I did: 1. create the ext4 partition in gparted 2. Select the partition in jade GUI with the / mountpoint and create ext4 partition setting 3. run the installer The installer says installation successful But when I reboot, there is no boot loader I tried crooting into the system and creating a boot loader manually, and while the system starts now, boot is slow and wont finish. I am able to alt f2 into an cli but log messages keep popping up, so its not really usable.

honestly i feel like it only will work if you let the installer do it automatically, manually seems to be somewhat borken. Atleast was for me last time i tried

Doesn't work for me regardless of the automatic or manual

I had to manually partition twice; worked on the 2nd try. I honestly don't remember what I did. But I do remember changing something.
