My photos
Hello ,
I've installed immich in docker-compose but I can't manage to map a volume to give it access to my photos. Could you tell me how to do this?
Thx

What have you tried so far? Did you follow the setup/instal docs?
Of course, I use the installation with the .env file.
Unless I've looked at it wrong, I can't find any information about the possibility of adding a volume. Out put the variable IMMICH_MEDIA_LOCATION= but I must have put it in the wrong place. I put it in the .env file.
The default compose file uses UPLOAD_LOCATION.
I changed the UPLOAD_LOCATION but it doesn't change. I don't have my photos.
Are you sure this is the one that indicates where the photos are?
I'm not sure about anything if your manually set immich media location which is only for internal paths.
If you follow the installation guide you should not modify the compose file and should not set IMMICH_MEDIA_LOCATION and then things would probably work as you expect them to.
that's just not what I want ... and when I go through the docker installation it gives me errors on the ports even though I have a dedicated machine with nothing on it ... and none of the ports are busy
What do you want exactly?
I want to be able to mount my folder where I have my photos in immich ... except that I don't see it in immiche and I can't map my folder to display my photos.

Thanks, but I haven't managed to upload all the photos to immich... so I'm uploading them all but immich keeps crashing...
