New in linux, escaped from Windows!
Hi, I just installed blendos, and I want to install some games, and I would like to be guided step by step, what exactly should I do. Thank you for your understanding!

to be honest, for someone completely new to linux i would maybe recommend something a bit less complicated like maybe ubuntu, openSUSE or mint but since youve already installed blendos i can try to help
i recommend making an ubuntu container in blendos settings to get games and apps and stuff
yeah blendos is not really for beginners currently it is still quite rough around the edges
when i first moved to linux i installed ubuntu, so you might want to reconsider and just install ubuntu on your pc or you might prefer kubuntu which is basically just ubuntu but looks a bit more like windows with the layout. Then you can easily install things like steam and wine for windows games, discord, virtualbox if you are interested in virtual machines, firefox as a browser, etc.
Try Pop OS or Linux mint maybe
Thank you for replying, I have. Tried 3 years ago linux mint for a month was a good experience, but i want to testing blendos because of containers, and can test many distro inside,i think many peoples should do that, in my opinion, blendos is no1 from now

any distro can use containers not just blendOS
But blendOS distro containers are special
They’re not distrobox :P
Or docker
I know! That's why I like blendOS. I have both ony system
Any help please?

These are my settings

Proton issue

Steam Store
Steam is the ultimate destination for playing, discussing, and creating games.
I have it
you can just install some games now
make sure to turn on proton if you want to play windows games
Go to steam settings > steam play
Choose Enable Steam Play for all titles
Set proton version to Proton Experimental
Then follow that (might be out of date due to new UI)
