Confusion about the need for both `runSync` and `runPromise` in Effect

Hello

I'm just starting up with Effect, reading the docs and stuff.

I'm at the point

runSync

runSync

and

runPromise

runPromise

are introduced.

They're explained pretty well, but I'm still confused about the need of both of them. What would be the advantage of using

runSync

runSync

when you can just run

runPromise

runPromise

and await on the result?
