❔ Need Help with a Small Lab Assignment that Involves my Home Direcory in Github
Here's the assignment, any help is great.

1. this isn't C# related so you're less likely to get help compared to a linux discord
2. you won't receive help by dropping the instructions and expecting someone to do it for you
1. the class uses C, this is just the first assignment in setting it up. i imagine many people here are familiar with Github
2. im not asking people to do it for me
C and C# are completely different languages
i just need help in github
i guarantee many people here know how to use it

i don't see anything about github in that assignment text
if you explain where you're stuck it will be easier to help
im confused where im setting up LabTask1 in my home directory. i assumed it was in Github because thats where we are submitting assignments and whatnot
you don't do things "in github"
github is basically cloud hosting for git repositories

so im doing that first part in terminal
i mean, i can't tell you for sure because again the assignment doesn't mention git at all
but what i can see is all stuff you do on your local computer
okay, and does number 2 make any sense to you? cus im not sure what the steps are for
yes, it's asking you to figure out what commands you need to run to get those pieces of information
