Some photos in immich seems to be corrupted
As title says. But those "corrupted" photos are displayable when viewing them from windows explorer through SMB.

Can you clarify what you mean by corrupted?
They can't be displayed either in web ui or mobile app
Have you made any changes to your library/thumbnails folder recently?
their EXIF extracted by immich seems to be fine

And if you use the download button in the image viewer, does that download the file successfully?
yes
and it is viewable again
as i described, when viewing directly by SMB, they're okay but can't be displayed in immich someohw
Immich doesn't display the original file but a resized/thumbnail version
Can you check the server logs?

It seems like the thumbnails somehow weren't generated 🤔 Try running the job to generate missing thumbnails

but that's the weird part it displays okay in mobile app
oh wait, they're loading from local storage on mobile
