Use an USB Drive as UPLOAD_DESTINATION and already having files
Hi again , sorry to bother you again but I didn't find the solution in the docs. I have an harddrive of ~20000 pictures that I want to use as an external storage. Is there a way to "import" the pictures without uploading them ? since they are alreay on the drive. Not sure if I am clear...
Thank you !

Thanks for your fast answer. I saw that but there are a couple thing that don't suit me : 1 - i don't want the library to be read-only since it will be the main storage 2 - it still needs to "copy" the files that are already on the drive
will I need to move all my files on another hardrive and send it back through immich npm ?
Think I found my way : https://immich.app/docs/features/bulk-upload do you think it would suit my requirements ?
Bulk Upload (Using the CLI) | Immich
You can use the CLI to upload an existing gallery to the Immich server
This will copy all the files, but it should work yeah
Your exact use case isn't fully supported yet
I did it with bulk upload but it seems that --album didn't work..; is it a know issue ?
or do we need to upload each folder separately ?
