Android support does not work

Hi, I have installed BlendOS because of its Android support. I get into the setting window, click on Android, I am informed that because of my NVIDIA card, Android will use software rendering, I click on "initialize", I get a lot of prompts to insert my password and then an option to install f-droid and Aurora. I click on them. Their buttons change to "open" and here it ends. I click on those buttons and nothing happens. I click on "Open settings", and nothing happens. When I click on another tab in the settings and click back, I have to initialize WayDroid again and nothing happens. I tried restarting the computer and nothing helps. Any idea?

I'm having the same issue. Could you try getting the logs from Waydroid after trying to initialize? I have a small guess at what could be going wrong. It theoretically shouldn't be an issue, but I'm wondering if switching tracks (DEs) can cause this? I switched from XFCE (installed via the xfce ISO) to KDE/Plasma Either way, first step is to try and see if the logs can point to where your error is (if its not the same as mine) Following the Waydroid docs, running waydroid log should give you everything, and if I'm reading correctly, it would be a good idea to run it first before initializing

Thanks for the replies. I then gave up and tried to install Waydroid on Pop OS. It wasn't the easiest thing but it works now surprisingly well.
