Authentication failure on container

I have made container for kali. and i want to update & upgrade my kali but i found that sudo is not installed, and when i want to run "su - root", it ask for password. I try my blend password (cs when create container, it doesn't ask for password) it said "Authentication failure"

does nothing or blend work? you can also try becoming root on your host, then using user enter
