Strange, a lot of people have problems with Ubuntu
Try blueprint -upgrade
alr 1 sec
i did and the same
Did you put in the blueprint files with Termius
yes
do i have to uninstall the panel first?
No Just Download the Files, Extract Them and Drag&Drop them to var/www/pterodactyl
I did
If you used Termius SFTP it kinda replaces panel files
i did replcae
replace*
@Emma Are you sure the Blueprint works on Ubuntu? So far there have been fewer errors on Debian than on Ubuntu
"replace all" removes the old folders and adds the new ones in termius
Yes it works on Ubuntu
so is there any possible ways to make it working?
No problems for you?
No problems for me
Try transfering the zip file of blueprint
and then unzip it into the directory
alright
how do i extract on termius?
unzip -u whateverurfilenameis.zip
make sure your in the pterodactyl panel folder
cd /var/www/pterodactyl
alright
done
should i run bash blueprint.sh?
cus still not working
Try it out
if it doesnt work try this
blueprint -rerun-install
dont but still not working
Hm
I remember encountering this issue before
i mean done*
blueprint -upgrade
?
I'm not quite sure what are the exact steps i did to fix it
but
ok 1 sec
Oh wait
You have to reinstall pterodactyl files
You can do that by updating
https://pterodactyl.io/panel/1.0/updating.html
Then unzip blueprint again with the unzip command
then it should work
so my users going to lose their file?
No
It performs an update but your user data should still be there
Following the pterodactyl updating guide
alr

@Patrick
r u in ur /var/www/pterodactyl folder?
cd /var/www/pterodactyl
Follow the upgrade guide exactly
oh shoot when it reconnects this happens
dammit
As an example, could he reset his panel and use a pterodactyl install script? I think that would make it easier and would also be updated immediately
?
I mean on a fresh install it would work too, but if you have client data its better to just update kinda
my wifi was lagging so i restarted my router at that that when termius reconects to the vps i forgot to set the directory.
alr the panel is now working

@Patrick (sorry for ping i have to be quick)
Now reinstall blueprint
put the blueprint zip into your /var/www/pterodactyl folder
then unzip -u whateverurfilenameis.zip
then go thru the installation stuff
@.BRKT is it working for u now?
im trying
my net is sooo slow
sorry if i late
it's still uploading

?
its not unzipping
do you have unzip installed?
yes i do
ok
Does it not output something like this?

it does
there is nothing new on the panel
wait no nothing is working

Did you install blueprint
yes
@Patrick

Like follow everything here?
https://github.com/teamblueprint/main
Error 505 usually is caused by folder are not www-data or anything like that
Do this:
sudo chmod 755 /var/www/
try a different browser
If you haven’t backed up your encryption key then your encrypted data is toast, gone forever
he wasnt in the right folder
ahh
okay i did and 403 forbidden

please i've been trying this for about 2 days
Have you even read the meassage I sent?
@.BRKT
so I'll lost all the data's?
yeah i guess
alr
i'll reinstall the vps
yes
rip my users data
alright so i rebuild it so now you've to guide me from the start
alright panel installation done
stop pinging people
alr
the instructions exist for a reason
i followed and nothing is working
and now i've a question
should i upload the zip and unzip it there? or upload it?
previous error wasn’t even blueprint related
?
make sure to upload with winscp
wait is there winscp inside blueprint rar?
i mean zip file
google winscp
im using termius
but i'll download it
winscp is much better
and only replaces individual files instead of folders
filezilla on top
how do i use public key?
public key?
filezilla works fine
winscp on top
termius is hot garbage
(i have used both)
thunar on top
xfce programs are insanely good
i have both firezila and winscp
instead of password i use ssh
now im in trouble
?

Thats not Blueprint related
owen told me to use it
i told you to use winscp
never said anything about keys
owen this is unrelated stuff
brkt what you are currently using is perfectly fine
its so termius doesnt remove his panel stuff
there is a button in termius called "merge"
ohh is that what its used for
brkt listen to purples advice instead
@.BRKT
- Update your panel (check pterodactyl documentation)
- Remove the "blueprint" and ".blueprint" folders from your Pterodactyl folder.
- Upload Blueprint files using termius and select "merge" instead of "replace".
- Follow installation instructions in Blueprint's readme
alright
Afaik he's already on a fresh installation
i already installed the panel
and i'll install the wing after blueprint
owen no offence
but please do some research before telling people what to do
appreciate you helping people and stuff
but a bunch of advice is just incorrect lmfao
sir my panel is up-to-date

resets all panel files
kind of
so if any files are broken and stuff
nothing is broken
that should repair it if panel files are broken
aight good
so many threads with the name "i need help" or similar lmfao
so do i have to skip the first step you told me?
yeah
alright
alright installed
working i guess
It works?
It does.
I'm using Ubuntu
ubuntu is primarily installed by, no offence, unexperienced people
I'm personally using Ubuntu because most packages that I need are already installed
