Failed to start hostname.service: Unit hostname.service not found

I am installing the recent version of blendOS kde onto a laptop that fits the minimum requirements. The live environment always hangs at the starting hostname service thingymabob, so I loaded into the TTY and tried to start it myselft. But, no dice. I also tried to boot the xfce version, but that one failed at the same thing.
