Is there like a bridge to connect a container to the host browser?
Hey guys, I would like to ask how I can connect a container in blendOS to the host system browser.
The reason for this is too enable click to open links inside a container in the terminal. It will also allows apps which need external authentication for extensions like Visual Studio Code to work properly.

No, not really, the best solution is to install your needed apps to the host or as flatpaks
I can't simple just install apps on the host system. I had to reinstall my system from scratch so it could be atomic.
The current situation I'm in is using Visual Studio Code in a flatpak with the terminal which runs fish inside a container.
vscode flatpak can interface with a browser on the host
that should be possible
if not by default, via flatseal
use bash on the host
It opens Brave browser which happens to be installed in flatpak too
But I use FireFox which by default comes installed on a fresh install
I also don't know how to uninstall it, so I can install FireFox as a flatpak or inside a container for this to work.
sad
you can't
So I'm stuck with this life now, no suggestions
as in you can't remove the default firefox
you might be able to look into using Flatseal to fix this
How would I use Flatseal for the built in Firefox
flatseal for vscode
You don't understand, I want to link my flatpak vscode to the pre installed Firefox
How do I do that?
Sorry for disturbing you though
@MrBear038, you've gained the level
1you can probably google this this isn't specific to blend
what I do know is you can use a tool called Flatseal
I'm sorry for betraying you, but I've distro-hopped to VanillaOS
So far it looks like it will be able help me achieve my typical workstation setup
