stuck at "Starting Server" for calamity multi-player world.

I'm trying to play calamity with my friend on tmod, but ever time I try to load up the world, it just gets stuck at the part where it says "Starting Server". I have no clue how to fix it. I've looked for videos on it, but there was nothing on it.
