Opens command prompt and then crashes

When I hit the play button from Steam it opens the command prompt after a couple of moments it closes. That's the only behavior it has. I've tried verifying files, downloaded 6.0.0 .NET, done a clean reinstall of both Terraria and tModLoader. Last night I restarted my PC and it allowed me to play which is interesting behavior.

Logs attached, let me know if anyone can think of anything.

You have "Failed to initialize audio client!" in your Natives.log.

That was for sure the solution, I'm a computer science major in my first year of college. Could you maybe explain why that stops the program from functioning correctly?

The audio library we use seems to have some issues, it's not something I know the specifics of, just that it's a bit of a tangled mess
