You've seemingly installed TML into terraria's folder instead of a subfolder (
Terraria/tModLoader) or a sibling folder (../tModLoader, next to Terraria). This isn't supported, but what I mentioned is. Remove everything but Content from your Terraria folder, verify its integrity with steam, and install TML into a correct location.
The fact that this crashes without a proper message for you is no good though..optimistic-gold•2y ago
I have the same problem but tml is well instaled

I dont know why
Ah, looks like theres a problem with the latest version
older versions work as of the moment
an update hopefully resolves the issue
@jopojelly I recall you refactoring installverifier recently, mind taking a look at this?
Looks like solxan pushed a fix to stable, it's not live yet, not sure if that means it needs testing
https://github.com/tModLoader/tModLoader/releases/tag/v2023.12.3.1
Here is the release, you can download the tModLoader.zip file and put the tModLoader.dll file from the zip into your install dir and launch the game, see if it works
Oops, didn't see
@شخص غير مستقر عقليا@Mattg Confirm that this helps & we'll set this live for everyone

Thanks, I've pushed the fix to others
I also did. Who won the race?
looks like your entry in the history is before mine
& I was afterwards mesmerized by the new confirmation process
