Table Filter as Sidebar

I've been trying to figure out how to place the table filters in the sidebar for a project I'm working on. I've attached an image as an example from booking com Are there any resources/examples that might guide me on how to implement this? Any advice or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

It is possible to have filters aside by using "hook classes" E.g. 
.fi-ta-ctn {
  display: flex;
}
.fi-ta-ctn {
  display: flex;
}
