For any developers wondering how to slightly speed up the webpack building process, I've attached a slightly changed version of the Pterodactyl webpack configuration which should be a bit quicker.
First build will not see much improvements, builds after that will have some slightly lower build times. (up to 15s faster in my testing, results might differ depending on hardware). I've used this for the past 4+ months as my webpack config for Pterodactyl and haven't ran into any issues yet, so it should be fairly stable.
Before replacing your webpack config with this one, you'll have to install 2 dependencies: hard-source-webpack-plugin and esbuild-loader. To do this, run the following command:
yarn add hard-source-webpack-plugin esbuild-loader.
When actually developing stuff, watch is better anyways, but for those that love just sending stuff straight to production, this is for you.Now I want a 7950X3D ❤️
