Challenges of `exactOptionalPropertyTypes` with Dependencies

exactOptionalPropertyTypes is painful with a lot of dependencies with optional non-undefined keys whose types I can't change. Anyone have any tips for dealing with this? It's feels extremely tedious to add a bunch of conditionals to build up type-safe options objects etc. when I turn that on.
