Veinminer on stone is bugged(?) on newer versions. (2.0.7) (1.20.1) (fabric) (dedicated server)

Me and a couple of friends are playing on fabric, because uni we dont have a lot of time so veinminer is a great addition.
I updated the mod, because the older version i was using didn't save the block settings when the server was restarted, but with the newer version the blocks are braking diagonally and on older versions it was more like a square shape.
i'm including an example tunnel i made with the older version and the other screenshoot the red diagonal lines are the dropped block when mining stone with the newer version.

well this is kinda shameful but i was reading #

╏support-ᵉⁿᵍˡᶦˢʰ and the creator mentioned the delay settings... i played a bit with it and it fixed my issue

if may i give you a suggestion, when veinminer is used on a big amount of blocks like: maxChain < avaiableBlocks, black in a square shape, like the sqrt(maxChain) X sqrt (maxChain)
