Gameboy Enhanced Firmware

Gameboy Enhanced Firmware is a feature rich fully functional peanut_gb implementation for the M5Stack Cardputer. Gameboy Embedded Firmware takes the core functionality of the main project, but removes the need for SD cards by allowing you to embed your ROMs directly into the firmwares .bin file itself creating your own personal firmware for each game. The project was initially inspired by a concept implementation of Blackbeard's Peanut_GB in Arduino by Matteo Forlani
Now complete with audio, configurable controls, display and performance options, savegames, save states, filesystem navigation and no .gb rom file size limits imposed by memory. Various other enhancements. Accurate palettes. Partial Super Gameboy Enhancement support, including borders. Extended 12 colour mode, along with all official/original GBC palettes. 44 Analogue Pocket 12 colour community palettes included with automatic mapping of titles to AP palettes implemented. Bluetooth low-energy gamepad support is still being investigated for the Cardputer(there is a stabilty issue) but is fully supported on the embedded version.
Pokemon Silver/Gold, Dragon Warrior I&II and Azure dreams are the only confirmed fully supported .gbc titles, backwards compatible with the original gameboy and run in that mode. Emulator will behave as if you placed a gameboy colour cartridge into an original gameboy in most instances. All *.gb and *.gbc files are listed by the file explorer in the current directory.
