Profile picture may not contain transparent pixels. Please move or zoom in

I'm getting the error message above, no matter which image i choose when i try to change the profile picture of some persons. Wording might be a bit off, as i'm not using english as language on my immich server.

Is there an example photos you can share here for troubleshooting?

I have not had a chance to get to it yet I can reproduce this on photo taken with Pixel 8 So look like the zoom package causes artifacts when using the generated jpeg, there is a "white" line appear, unless you zoom all the way in, then you can crop it. Let me see how can we fix it

Sounds awesome, that you were able to find the root cause!

Just giving another feedbak on the issue... I have an IPhone 12 and it seems to me that when I choose a JPG image taken from it, it gets the same error. When I choose a picture from a HEIC image, it all works fine.
