Having trouble getting the mod manager to recognize my file location?

So I havemt played satisfactory since early update 8, and back then I was playing a lot of modded. but now that Im returning I was having trouble. the actual launch of the game still had the outdated mods so that was a thing I had to figure out, which I have now by just removing the files directly, but the mod manager keeps giving the message "Error
1 Satisfactory install was found, but it points to a folder that doesn't exist.
"D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Satisfactory"."
Ive tried reinstalling the mod manager with no luck and the path is correct. So my question is basically what do? is there a way to make the mod manager redetect the path? while its like this I should mention that I have no way of messing with the settings on the mod manager.
Solution

You cant play with mods on 1.0 yet!

If you're trying to launch the game without mods:

1.0 has renamed the game target, preventing SMM from being able to automatically uninstall mods for you.
  1. To manually turn off mods, delete the FactoryGame/Mods folder from your game install directory manually. Here's how to find the game install directory: https://docs.ficsit.app/satisfactory-modding/latest/faq.html#Files_GameInstall
  2. Even after you do this, SMM still won't work, and you will still get the "folder that does not exist" error message! You have to launch the game from Epic/Steam for now. Close SMM and don't use it again until we announce that mods are updated.
  3. If you have issues launching the game after this, also delete the FactoryGame/Plugins folder, then verify your game files to restore it: https://docs.ficsit.app/satisfactory-modding/latest/faq.html#_how_do_i_verify_my_game_files
  4. If you're still having issues, post the next error you get!
