No sync between Android filesystem and termux

as the images show, there exists a

file.pdf

file.pdf

in termux that isn't showing up in google files. I am open to other methods of editing/downloading a file in termux and accessing it via gfiles, but do not want to use thirdparty file manager applications to view this file. any help?

Solution

$ termux-media-scan -r ~/storage/shared

$ termux-media-scan -r ~/storage/shared

updates your indexing or whatever of the files on your phone. Without this they will appear there with noticeable delay. All applications which don't scan memory directly will have this.
