".NET MAUI iOS Simulator Error: 'Please connect the device' with UDID, stuck after build"
I'm running into an issue with .NET MAUI on iOS. I keep getting the error:
Please connect the device ':v2:udid=8B56F350-7124-4C30-A582-30BC84EF1BE6'...
This UDID is for my simulator, and I'm unsure how to resolve this. I've followed the official MAUI docs, but still no luck.
My steps:
I boot the simulator.
Run the dotnet build command with the UDID.
It builds, but then I'm stuck at the error above.
I also tried running it via Visual Studio for macOS but keep getting "exited with code 1" when targeting iOS 17.2. I have iOS 18 installed as well, but I’m hesitant to use it since there doesn’t seem to be official MAUI support for it yet.
Any suggestions on how to resolve this?
