he can't be green
if he's green he doesn't have creativity
provincial-silver•7mo ago

flat-fuchsia•7mo ago
he is
flat-fuchsia•7mo ago
saturation increased and you can see green

flat-fuchsia•7mo ago
green parts highlighted

flat-fuchsia•7mo ago
this is proof the cat is green
(greenish yellows and greenish cyans were counted as green too)
extended-salmon•7mo ago
proof he isn't: you need to increase saturation just to see it
flat-fuchsia•7mo ago
counterpoint: that means that his fur still has a green hue, therefore he is still partially green
extended-salmon•7mo ago
countercounterpoint: partially green
flat-fuchsia•7mo ago
countercountercounterpoint: the thread name is is this cat green? not is this cat fully green?

countercountercountercountercounterpoint: you stole my point there, but i am still right
11% of every color has a green hue (including the floor in the background, which took up around 69%) the other pixels had around 20% of the total, but that’s every other color combined
if the other colors were counted as lets say two (the black/gray and brown parts) and were perfectly halved
they would only have 10% each, when 11% is green

whuh

it doesn't count because the saturation is boosted
also if you slightly tint the image green, your eyes correct for it so it looks normal (fair)
but if you slightly tint the image green and then saturation boost it then it will look green and your eyes won't correct it
not saying that you intentionally tinted the image green but noise and lighting might slightly make it green
like im not going to say discord dark mode is blue/purple because the gray is slightly tinted
the cat is gray but slightly tinted yellow (and green in certain places) but it's not green enough to be considered green
and green isn't a fur color in cats
it would be alot less biased if instead of asking "is this cat green" you ask "what color is this cat"

alot of confirmation bias going on in this thread
provincial-silver•7mo ago
average color of the cat:

provincial-silver•7mo ago
IT'S GRAY
and if you saturation boost it you get YELLOW
provincial-silver•7mo ago
like this is the background color of discord dark theme and according to spookuss's logic if you saturate boost it it's blue so it must be considered blue instead of gray

provincial-silver•7mo ago
mostly yellow
wise-white•7mo ago
is this poll a joke
provincial-silver•7mo ago
idk
