Welcome to #support-forum. Before someone helps you, please first consult the information in #TML Troubleshooting Guide and try all the suggestions that might fit your particular issue, especially in the linked FAQ page.
If the information in the pinned thread does not solve your issue, please post all log files by dragging and dropping them into this chat. In Steam right click on
tModLoader in the library, then hover over Manage and click on Browse local files. In the folder that appears find tModLoader-Logs and open that folder. Inside that folder are the logs files. Select them all except the Old folder and drag them into this chat. If you need a visual guide to this process watch this: https://github.com/tModLoader/tModLoader/assets/4522492/3f4efa43-753f-4733-b630-ba85e711340cIn Steam, set betas to 'none' to use the current stable version

I think the issue here is that on github the month release has automatically come out (all good), any servers would automatically grab it off of github, but that update has not been pushed to steam, for now the fix is doing the following:
1. go to github https://github.com/tModLoader/tModLoader/releases ,
2. download the stable branch zip file (should be the tmodloader.zip under "1.4.4-refs/heads/stable Version Update: v2024.09.3.0",
3. extract it
4. Go into the folder and run "start-tmodloader.bat"
This issue also happened for me and doing the above sorted out the issue
you'll have to do this until the steam release is caught up with the github release (hopefully soon)
Note: Doing this does also automatically grab and sync up any data you had on tmodloader steam so you don't have to reconfigure anything

Should be the one that just says start-tModLoader
That is a .bat file

Yes thank you, unsure why the file extension is hidden by default but it's that one 🙂
