 Hey @Elias, Thanks for reaching out to us. Please carefully read this message and follow the recommended actions. This will help us be more effective in our support effort and leave more time for building Immich :immich:. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider: - Your docker-compose.yml and .env files. - Logs from all the containers and their status (see above). - All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far. - Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system. - Details about your system (both software/OS and hardware). - Details about your storage (filesystems, type of disks, output of commands like fdisk -l and df -h). - The version of the Immich server, mobile app, and other relevant pieces. - Any other information that you think might be relevant. Please paste files and logs with proper code formatting, and especially avoid blurry screenshots. Without the right information we can't work out what the problem is. Help us help you ;) If this ticket can be closed you can use the /close command, and re-open it later if needed.

Not sure what the question here is? Immich doesn't delete anything you don't explicitely tell it to delete When deleting in the app you can select one of three options, delete from device, delete from immich or both

So I have to delete the files in Immich? I copied my Photos on a HDD and then proceeded to delete the entire folder on my smartphone. Immich then showed a "!" sign and it dropped from 14k saved files to 10k. So, I deleted the folder manually, and also the folder itself which I guess screw things up... I will try deleting in Immich I guess?

You seem to be deleting a lot, is there anywhere you want this saved at all?

Yes. I want to save it to my HDD so I have space on my phone. But I also want to have the pictures on demand

Anyway, if you delete it from the phone it should show that they're backed up on immich server. Just make sure you select "from this device" and not everywhere when deleting The counter might be a little wonky though, that's a known issue

Do I understand it right. People only use Immich as a Backup solution, but not as a cloud solution exactly as google Photos so they have no problems with their storage on the device?

Deleting backed up assets from a phone is a long standing feature request, it should be here sometime soon-ish They do but like you said, it's a bit of a hassle right now
