Yeah! Sometimes I might want to delete an old weird message i said in the past on a server but then i realize that they have a log bot and if i delete the message sent months ago then dyno will send a message at the time of deletion of the message

message loggers store this info until you reset your client

as unfortunate as it is, message logs are pretty much crucial for moderation

You can make it that the logged deleted messages clear after 3 days, so let's say someone sent a message a month ago, and deletes it today, then it will show that the message is deleted but after 3 days it will delete the "deleted message in: general" thing
Good compromise?

message loggers suck. if i want to delete stuff, i want it gone FOREVER
i use vencord sometimes though, but i do NOT use messgae loggers

it's useful
it makes people shut up about finding out what bad stuff someone did
as bad as it sounds
if people dont know why someone's in trouble
they'll likely ask mods
which could get more people timed out
making more people curious
if they did care and have loggers, it would be more clear to them and they'll stop asking
