Ignore icloud shared albums

Hi, I’m just wondering how I can ignore icloud shared albums completely from the app? I have some icloud shared albums that I’m a part of that I don’t want to see within Immich at all. It looks like they aren’t being backed up, which is good, but I still see them in the main Photos page (timeline?) and I’d like them to be excluded. Is there a way to do this?

It’s only in the app, because it shows “images on device” even though the shared albums are only icloud. In the browser it only shows what’s uploaded/backed up. I don’t think this is an “issue”, I’m mostly just curious if there’s a feature to exclude these albums This is also a fresh setup with the default docker compose file, I selected a few of my on-device albums to back up, which has worked well. I just don’t want it to show icloud shared albums as “on device” and ignore them

Double tap them in the backup selection to exclude them

I had done that and they were still showing up in the timeline for quite awhile. However, it now looks like somehow they have been synced and are no longer showing up, including not showing up in the Library > On This Device section, so I think we’re good. I guess I got confused when they were there by default and then didn’t seem to be going away. Thanks

If you pull down in the app twice, it rebuilds the timeline (this will take a while)
