Issue with Immich Starting

Hi! I was working with Immich all going well until today, when I found that there were several thumbnails missing from recent photos. I looked it up and found that runing the "generate thumbnails" job would fix the issue, so I did. It seems that a while after running that job the docker instance crashed. I restarted it and after starting it up again, I found that it's not responsive and the logs keep looping. Attaching the logs for reference, any help is greatly appreciated!!

Can you please check for the postgres log files in your DB_DATA_LOCATION folder?

It looks like your database is corrupted you should restore from backup
Davezone
DavezoneOP5mo ago
could you let me know how to do that? Is there a guide on that somewhere?

there should be daily database dumps in the backups/ folder, if you didn't setup your own

So I've followed the restore procedure, but I'm getting the follwing error after: docker exec -it immich_postgres bash cat "/dump.sql" \ | sed "s/SELECT pg_catalog.set_config('search_path', '', false);/SELECT pg_catalog.set_config('search_path', 'public, pg_catalog', true);/g" \ | psql --username=postgres psql: error: connection to server on socket "/var/run/postgresql/.s.PGSQL.5432" failed: FATAL: the database system is starting up sorry, my bad, first command ran wrong okay so I tried with a fresh install and got this error:

You're right, I didn't. I'm an idiot it worked perfectly, thanks so much for your help!! While I'm here, I'm wondering if you could help me with the original issue I was having I ran the thumbnail generate job, and it fixed the photos just fine but when I go to "people" tab, I still come up with "Error loading image"

Great! Nothing in the logs? Did you rerun the face job?

I'm re-running it now, will let you know when it finishes! Sorry to reply so late! The job ran overnight, and today it shows completed, but I still have the same issue I rebooted the instace because I had a docker desktop update, and now this is the output
