How to remove offline album assets? (timeline duplicates)

In my Immich Android app, I have created an album, and added assets to it from an external library. Later, I created a share link for the album and uploaded some files to the album using the links webpage. I then noticed the assets appeared twice in my timeline, and so I have removed the album. The album folder has been removed from my library folder. ( I have set this storage template: {{album}}/{{y}}/{{MM}}/{{filename}} ) However, the double assets in my timeline remain. Refreshing and rescanning libraries (of course) do not avail the issue. My library folder is 0 kb. My upload folder is only 561 kb, so the assets can't be there, despite it having numerous subfolders. (I exclusively use external libraries.) How do I get rid of these duplicates in my timeline? Thanks.

you can’t just delete the files from the internal library folder The UPLOAD_LOCATION is read only, never can edit, move into/out of/delete files So you’ll have to delete the files properly from the UI/API

So you mean deleting them in the timeline? Is there any way to determine which is the photo in an external library, and which was in the album? Also, to be clear, I first deleted the album using the Immich app.

You can check the path in the asset detail panel by clicking the (i) next to the filename Deleting an album doesn't delete the assets in it

I totally missed that (i) icon. Thanks! Ok, that worked. Thanks again. (how) do I mark this as solved?
