Icloudpd immich cli wrong dates

I've completed Google takeout successfully, Done icloudpd and ran "upload /import --recursive" command on CLI sadly all the media are imported on today's date.... how can I fix this?

use immich-go if you have accompanying data for the google photos data for instance (or icloud)

I've already used it for google takeout, but I'm having issue with icloud photos which I used immich CLI to upload

again, its not Google takeout I'm trying to get icloud images to immich I used icloudpd to download everything, then used immich-cli to import got everything in Today's date! seems Upload ignored files creation date of files

Immich-go also works with icloud downloads Immich-cli does not consider any special metadata structures, unlike immich-go

I'm afraid so yes, if it's too much work you can consider starting fresh of course 🙂 Alternatively you can write a script that uses the API to delete assets from that upload time

Thanks for your promptness! I tried deleting immich\upload\library\admin but images are still showing up in immich! is there another path for the media?

you can never delete files from the UPLOAD_LOCATION manually = by browsing through the website, or using the API as mraedis mentioned
