If this ticket can be closed you can use the /close
command, and re-open it later if needed.I am using a zpool and a dataset. But they are mounted.
If I reinstall immich without restoring a backup it works. But not with the instructions for restoring the data: https://immich.app/docs/administration/backup-and-restore/#manual-backup-and-restore
Can I get a
tree -L 2
of your upload locationsure

I don't see anything in your upload so are you sure that's mounted right?
I just have a backup of the database 😅
It's supposed to contain about 5 folders
The database is only metadata
Do you still have the old install somewhere? If not I'm afraid it's all gone
No, I haven't, but that's not that bad. I've tried out a few self-hosting solutions over the last few days and wanted to see if I could get access to all my data again with the backups that I currently have configured before I actively use it. And it turns out I didn't pay attention to a few things with the backups 😄
OK so you'll need a db backup and the uploads
But the good news is in the most recent versions db backups are insid of the upload location
So if you have that folder you're good to go
Okay I only read the backup option, saw that it was active and thought that was fine.
