Correct IP address inside VM
It's not clear to me how to determine the correct IP address to enter into the mobile app to connect it to my server. I try to enter the local IP but it cannot connect (http://192.168.0.111:2283/api) I have Immich running inside TrueNas Scale, which is running as a VM in Proxmox. Not sure how to fix this one.

In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:
- Your docker-compose.yml and .env files.
- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).

192.168.0.111
would be correct.
The Scale setup listens on port 30041
by default I see, did you configure the port differently or try that?So i have tried that too. entering 192.168.0.111:30041/api but it still says "server not reachable. If that's the case, then I assume this is a proxmox issue and not an Immich issue?
Except that if I go to the IP in a web browser in my phone, I get the immich login screen just fine. So my phone can access the server.
try putting http:// in front of the address
Or if its an iPhone I think there's some setting you need to flip to allow local ip address in apps? Thought I read that before
This is how I'm entering it with no results. I'm on a Samsung Andriod phone with latest updates.
