Uploading duplicate media
Hi there, I've used an old iPhone to upload all photos (including new ones, synced by iCloud) on Immich, however, after opening immich on the new iPhone, it's detecting all the media for the syncronization

7. :ballot_box_with_check: tried an incognito window, disabled extensions, cleared mobile app cache, logged out and back in, different browsers, etc. as applicable

In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:
- Your docker-compose.yml and .env files.
- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).
- All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
- Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.
- Details about your system (both software/OS and hardware).
- Details about your storage (filesystems, type of disks, output of commands like
fdisk -l and df -h).
- The version of the Immich server, mobile app, and other relevant pieces.
- Any other information that you think might be relevant.
Please paste files and logs with proper code formatting, and especially avoid blurry screenshots.

Immich will attempt to upload all selected meadia, then reject exact duplicates on the server and blacklist those items on the phone locally.
This is an improvement that will be reworked at some point.
ok, so no need to worry about duplicates?
As longs as the photos are byte for byte exact, they will be rejected. (No metadata changes, no compression, etc)

i just finished copying all the data from an hdd to a new one
(all the immich folder)
For anything else you can use the deduplicating utility which works based off image similarity
changing the path in .env is enough?
Process should be. Stop the containers, copy the upload location to the new destination, update the UPLOAD_LOCATION env to point to the new path, start containers with docker compose up -d
